Hello. It’s been a while, yes I know. But that doesn’t mean that little gnomes haven’t been working in the background. They have been. And here we are. It’s October 2019 - how did that happen? And I made a card game, and then turned the experience of playing that game into a show.
A Cocktail Party Social Experiment begins with a Question:
Can we create an analog experience in which a group of strangers can get to know each other in a deeper and more meaningful way?
Our Hypothesis is: Yes
Armed with cocktails and A Cocktail Party Game, 8 strangers navigate a cocktail party, skip the small talk, and get into the good stuff.
Part immersive theater, part game night, part story slam, part boozy people-watching all wrapped up in the framework of a science experiment.
The first A Cocktail Party Social Experiment occurred three weeks ago at Chelsea Music Hall, and I am thrilled to announce that we have been booked for two more events.
