A Cocktail Party Social Experiment // Chelsea Music Hall // Nov 24th & Dec 16th

Hello. It’s been a while, yes I know. But that doesn’t mean that little gnomes haven’t been working in the background. They have been. And here we are. It’s October 2019 - how did that happen? And I made a card game, and then turned the experience of playing that game into a show.

A Cocktail Party Social Experiment begins with a Question:

Can we create an analog experience in which a group of strangers can get to know each other in a deeper and more meaningful way?

Our Hypothesis is: Yes

Armed with cocktails and A Cocktail Party Game, 8 strangers navigate a cocktail party, skip the small talk, and get into the good stuff.

Part immersive theater, part game night, part story slam, part boozy people-watching all wrapped up in the framework of a science experiment.

The first A Cocktail Party Social Experiment occurred three weeks ago at Chelsea Music Hall, and I am thrilled to announce that we have been booked for two more events.

The Collective Museum // Your Muse Awaits....

I am thrilled to announce I've been hired to direct a series of pop-up quests to introduce New York City to the Collective Museum!  What is the Collective Museum?

In the words of Alyssa Gundred, the Museum's CEO, "“The Collective is essentially a children’s museum for adults.   Every adult has an idea for a project that they wish they had the time, space, or access to accomplish. Without knowledge, training, and the proper tools, these become ideas that are nice to think about, but never come to fruition,” says Alyssa Gundred, co-founder & CEO. “Wouldn’t it be amazing if there could be a place where you could bring your idea and actually manifest it?”  

The quest details and locations will be announced under #houseofthemuses, with new clues to be released each month on the new moon and a monthly secret party held on the full moon.  The quest serves as a way to introduce the public to the museum’s philosophy and programming and set the stage for a brick-and-mortar location set to open in 2019.

Ladies & Germs, here is my Moth GrandSlam story that I shared in April 2016 at the Echoplex in Los Angeles.  The theme was "Game On," and I couldn't have been more thrilled to have shared the stage with some truly incredible storytellers.
